Hi, I’m Elias, a software engineer and former game developer from the faraway lands of Chile.
I’ve been coding since I was ~9 years old, so I’ve done a lot of a stuff in different languages (some defunct by now) such as BASIC, QB, VB, C, C++, Java, Perl, Pascal, JavaScript, Scheme, Scala, Assembly, C#, VB.NET, Python, and many others. My journey with computers has been mostly driven by a bottomless curiosity, an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a never-ending desire for making new things.
Through the years I’ve been greatly interested in topics like optimization, computer architecture, compilers, artificial intelligence, machine learning, electronics, and game development, and I’m constantly researching and learning new things.
I also have other hobbies like photography, making music (not very good at that), DIY electronics and robotics, drawing (not good at that either), chess, movies, books and of course playing videogames! (although I dedicate an embarrassingly low amount of time to that!).
Hi Elias,
Your blog offers a great mix of retro hardware insights and practical DIY electronics projects, demonstrating your expertise and passion.
I’m Emily from PCBWay, a global PCB munufacturer in China. I’d love to sponsor your diy project with free PCB.
Would you be open to discussing the pontential collaboration?
Best regards,
Emily
Hi Emily,
That would actually be nice. I do my own PCBs when I’m prototyping, but it would be great to have some of them manufactured more professionally.
I’ve used some PCBS services in the past so I’m more or less familiar with the process. Let me know how would you want me to contact you for more details on what is possible in terms of collaboration.
Regards,
